About Us
Who are we?
Detroit Cathedral Bookshop is a ministry of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, the Cathedral for the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan.
We serve the members of the Cathedral Parish, members of other Episcopal congregations in and outside of the Diocese Michigan and those of other faiths. We are open to the public and welcome all those who wish to explore spiritual and temporal matters.
Where are we located?
Our brick-and-mortar location is within the Episcopal Church Center, located at 4800 Woodward Avenue, Detroit MI 48201.
We are in Detroit’s Midtown neighborhood within walking distance of Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Public Main Library, Detroit Science Center, Detroit Historical Museum and the Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History.
We are a short drive from the Downtown Detroit, Comerica Park, Ford Field, Fox Theatre, and the Max M. Fischer Music Center (Orchestra Hall).

The mission of the Cathedral Bookshop of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul is to enrich and support spiritual and educational ministries through books and other media of quality and integrity for parish members and the congregations of the Diocese and people from the wider community.
