Detroit Cathedral Bookshop carries cards from The Printery House, Cards by Anne and John Benson. We have cards for nearly any occasion including birthday, anniversary, baptism, confirmation, wedding and ordination as well as a selection of all-occasion and blank cards.

The Printery House is an apostolic work of the monks and employees of Conception Abbey, a Benedictine monastery situated in the rolling farmlands of northwest Missouri. Part of their mission is to share the Christian faith through the creation and distribution of printed products.

We carry a selection of boxed and individual cards from The Printery House for religious and general occasions. We also offer Printery House Christmas cards in season.

Cards by Anne, from its beginning in 1986, has made a firm commitment to using recycled pape Cards by Anne sample card rs exclusively while at the same time providing a high quality writing experience for its customers. They specialize in hand-calligraphied cards with philosophical messages from great writers and thinkers of our time and of times past. Each is hand-designed using calligraphy, water color and/or ink. The simplicity of the designs allows the profound messages to speak to the heart.

Our selection includes cards for many occasions including a large selection of cards that are blank inside. Detroit Cathedral Bookshop also carries packages of Cards by Anne Christmas cards in season.

Detroit artist John Benson hand-stamps his collection of linoleum block cards. His cards are known for their vibrant colors. Many of John’s designs show a Celtic influence. We carry Benson cards for many occasions, including Christmas cards in season. Most are blank inside.
